Translation

Translation is the process of transferring contents into one language that have been presented in another language.

More specifically, translation is the process of doing that with written source texts. When dealing with spoken sources, the term that you're looking for is interpreting.
      
For many, this will involve a native and a non-native language. Commonly, better results are expected when working into the native language, so the target language in my translation work is usually German. (For more information about my professional capacities, contact me.)
